We work with effective, kind, reward-based training methods. You will require a 2m lead & 5 m long line and a treat pouch for both your classes & continuing at home. Wk 1. Sat 26th April, 12.30pm to 2pm. Group Class, Auchengray. Wk 2. Sat 3rd May, 10.30am to 12pm. Group Class, Auchengray. Wk 3. Fri 9th, Sat 10th or Sun 11th, One hour 121 or 221 in Tarbrax. Times to be arranged. Wk 4. Sat 17th May, 12.30pm to 2pm. Group Class, Auchengray. Wk 5. Fri 23rd, Sat 24th or Sun 25th, One hour 121 or 221 in Tarbrax. Times to be arranged. Wk 6. Sat 31st May, 12.30pm to 2pm. Group Class, Auchengray. Wk 7. Off Saturday 7th June. Wk 8. Off Saturday 14th June. Wk 9. Fri 20th, Sat 21st or Sun 22nd, One hour 121 or 221 in Tarbrax. Times to be arranged. Wk 10. Sat 28th June, 12.30pm - 2pm. Group Class, Tarbrax. Six dogs per class - Cost of course £240 -£330. We ask for a £120 non-refundable deposit to confirm place at time of booking then a 2nd payment of £120 or £210 by Thursday May 1st. We will start with the very basics and build strong core skills from the ground up, including essential survival skills for you and your puppy to negotiate real life situations. We will help you communicate effectively with your puppy and consolidate your relationship, It may feel very repetitive, but consistency allows your dogs to learn & understand what you are expecting from them as individuals. Once we have built a relationship with your dogs and understand them as individuals & have assessed who would be comfortable to socialise in the group, we will allow this to happen. What we cover in class needs you to commit time for both you and your Puppy to work together at home on a regular basis. As all the pups are different breeds, at slightly different ages, please do not be concerned if your pup is learning faster than another. The time & input you put into your training yourself with your pup in-between classes will make all the difference to progress. Short stints per exercise with breaks for processing and decompression time for your pup are crucial. We will ask you to join a private WhatsApp Group to enable us to share video footage of our classes and lessons as well as allowing you to ask questions in between class. We encourage you as a group to share experiences as we can learn from one another's good days & bad days.
