Mark Walker Dog Training - Canine Solutions

Our courses are designed to support you through every stage of your dog's life.

Held locally within Tarbrax Bing, off Tarbrax Road & Auchengray Church Centre, just a short distance from Tarbrax.

Our Puppy Life Skills & Intermediate Life Skills are limited to a maximum of four attendee's to ensure you have our full support throughout.

Each year we run a variety of courses with face to face classes & workshops to cover different aspects of training & behaviour for you & your dog.

From your first Puppy Life Skills Course, following into our Intermediate and Adult Life Skills Courses you will learn how to communicate and train your dog with kind and effective, reward-based training methods.

Our Weekend Courses

Puppy Life Skills, (starting age 7 months & under).

Intermediate Life Skills, (any age).

Our Workshops (3 to 4 hours long)

Loose Leash, Recall, Dealing with Distractions, Four Feet on the Floor, Dog Tricks for Beginners!

Passive Scent Work, Intermediate Passive Scent Work, Beginners Active Scent Work.

Monthly Passive Scent Work Club Class – (Workshop a must before joining this Club)

Intermediate Life Skills

Our next 10 block starts on

10.30pm to 12pm

For dogs of any age progressing from Puppy Life Skills or 1st Time Training for

Late Starters or Rescue dogs.

Newcomers will require one or possibly two, 121 sessions with Mark prior to the beginning of the course to ensure suitability & cover foundation skills.

We continue working on the foundations that were set in Puppy Life Skills.

Enabling you to continue your training journey with the skills and confidence to breeze through any tricky teenage challenges that pop up. Continuing to shape confident adult dogs able to listen under distractions.

Five weeks of group classes and 3 x 121 or 221 sessions with Mark. Including a break on Saturday 7th & 14th of June to allow you time to work on your new skills.

Puppy Life Skills

For Puppies Seven Months and Under, (at course start date).

Our course offers an opportunity for both you & your puppy to build essential life skills, confidence and understanding that enables you both to be able to navigate a wide variety of real life situations.

With added Socialisation, Activity - Sensory - Enrichment Zone and care guidance included within the course.

Five weeks of group classes and 3 x 121 or 221 sessions with Mark. Including a break on Saturday 7th & 14th of June to allow you time to work on your new skills.

I have done both the puppy training course and the young dog course with Mark Walker Dog Training - Canine Solutions and I found both of them really helpful and Ruby my dog clearly enjoyed them too (Mark produces the best treats). It gave me a flying start to be able to ask Mark for advice with a very young puppy.

The Canine Solutions team are fantastic. I participated in a 4 week scent class and loved it. Mark took time with all of us dogs individually to work out how best to motivate each of us to find the scented socks. I found it challenging but when I found the prize I wagged my tail furiously and danced back to my owner, proud of what I'd done. Me (and my rescue-owner) can not recommend this course enough. It was a great class and we now enjoy scent training in our games at home. Dogs and their owners will really enjoy it!

I would highly recommend Mark, he really knows his stuff and was really patient with our Dash. We have been given training tips and videos to help set Dash on the right path.
